Fishing: There is abundant fishing in the Bahamas including wahoo, dolphin, amberjack, barracuda, black fin tuna, giant blue fin, blue marlin, white marlin, grouper, kingfish, tarpon, sailfish - not to mention lobster, Cray fish and conch.
Bone Fishing in the Bahamas is a major pastime and the flats off the southern coast of Exuma provide probably the best bone fishing in the world.

Boating: The Bahamas comprises approximately 700 islands, inlets and cays stretching over 100,000 square miles and provides one of the best boating destinations in the world.
Within the Exuma Cays is a Bahamas National Trust Land and Sea Park which is reached only by boat and preserves Bahamian flora and fauna.
Scuba Diving: All forms of water sports are readily available throughout the Bahamas.
George Town , the capital of Exuma, is host to the annual Out Island Regatta. This is one of the most prestigious island events. The annual family island regatta is held around the last week in April in Elizabeth Harbour, George Town. The regatta consists of many races in wooden sailing boats and sloops. The regatta brings Bahamians together from all the other islands and lasting for almost a week is the highlight of the Exuma calendar.
There is an 18 hole, Greg Norman signature course which is part of the Four Seasons Resort at Emerald Bay in Exuma. The resort itself provides fine dining, conference and recreational facilities.
